Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Applies to urlbase.link, operated by JMP Enterprise Inc. ("URLBase", "we", "us").
What we collect
Account data. When you register, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
Link data. The destinations you shorten, the short codes you choose, and the options you set (such as expiry dates or password protection — passwords are stored hashed).
Click metadata. When someone clicks a short link, we record the time, the country the request appears to come from, and the referring website if the browser provides one. We use this only to show the link owner their statistics and to keep the service secure.
Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact page, we keep your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the service: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a functional cookie that remembers unlocking a password-protected link. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of link visitors.
Advertising and third-party cookies
Some pages of this website (such as our home page and blog) may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Advertising is never placed on redirect pages or between a visitor and a link's destination.
Infrastructure providers
The service runs on Cloudflare's network, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site. We use aggregated, privacy-respecting measurement of page visits to understand which content is useful.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your link statistics with anyone but you. We do not place advertising in the redirect path.
Your choices
You may edit or delete your links at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and associated data, contact us through the contact page and we will remove it. You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request corrections.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date at the top of this page.
